Gramsci lesen

It rarely happens that we can watch a clever mind think and learn from it. Antonio Gramsci’sprison notebooksdepict the production process of critical knowledge, but also the conditions of imprisonment under which they were created. However, its fragmentary character with over 2000 pages of mosaic pieces of different notes over nine volumes makes systematic access difficult. Where to start? And how?
Reading Gramsciallows you to get started: get to the original without shyness! The volume contains 12 sections with excerpts from theprison notebooksthat interweave elements of Gramsci’s social theory. In a wide range of topics, Gramsci develops a comprehensive perspective on the struggle for hegemony it includes economic, political, ideological and cultural aspects, understood as a contradictory whole. His critical social theory is inseparable from the communist politician and political strategist.
